Mapper Hire Defaults
The Mapper Hire Defaults window allows you to set the default values for a specific selection of fields, which can be applied when processing a new hire via the Mapper Definitions: New Hire (
Prerequisites
- There are no prerequisites for this screen.
Rules and Guidelines
- The fields on the Personal Details section are based from the Personal screen and contain the same field validations apart from the Postcode field which can accept a blank value.
- The following rules apply on the Personal Details section in terms of Mapper Hire Import File and Mapper Hire Defaults screen values:
- When a field is populated in the Mapper Hire Import File, the value in that field will be used.
- When the Mapper Hire Import file does not contain any value, the Mapper Engine will look into the settings of this window to see if any default value exists for the fields. If a default value exists, it will then be applied.
- If there is no default value, the field will then be processed with no value.

All fields on this screen are optional as there is no requirement to use this functionality.
Field Information
Personal Details
Title
Choose from the drop-down the title (e.g. Mr, Ms, Lady, Dr) of the employee.
Gender
Choose from the drop-down the employee's gender.

Choose from the drop-down the state or region of the residential address.

Enter the Postal code of the employee's address.
